Alden Hegger (mostly known as Aldi) began their theatre career in middle school as an actor. Back then they had a hobby on the side as a cosplayer. It was not until college (Arkansas State University, BA 2016) that those two worlds collided and Aldi found a real interest in making costumes for the stage. In the theatre world, they’ve been a stitcher, draper, crafts artisan, dresser, makeup artisan, and even props artisan. When not focusing on theatre or school, Aldi is active in the cosplay community across the country, and will even build cosplays on commission.

Aldi is currently a third-year graduate student at Boston University, studying Costume Production. Their final semester will be focused on the completion of their graduate thesis, which they can’t wait to share with the world.
