I was the draper and stitcher for Emilia 2, shown here in a purple ensemble in a puffy-sleeved top and ruched silk skirt inspired by a combination of Elizabethan and modern styles. Neck ruff made by Joice Caldeira Simao.

This 1890’s suit, with a removable panel to convert the pants into a “skirt,” is based on this piece which is currently living at the Met.

This suit was my first foray into the world of tailoring, using drafts from R. I. Davis’s Men's Garments 1830-1900: A Guide to Pattern Cutting and Tailoring.
